Coronavirus Office Updates

We would like all of our patients to know that we have put infection control measures into place to protect our patients and our staff to make sure that everyone can continue to get safe and appropriate healthcare during this outbreak. We are conducting most visits in person at this time, but telehealth visits are availalbe. For those visits in office, we have instituted a policy whereby no one who is ill, has a travel risk or has a COVID-19 exposurewill be permitted in our waiting rooms or regular exam rooms. If you have a cough, shortness of breath or fever, regardless of travel history, or, if you have traveled outside Massachusetts in the last 14 days and don't have a negative COVID-19 test in the last three days, regardless of whether or not you have symptoms, or if you have been in contact with someone known or suspected to have COVID-19, regardless of whether or not you have symptoms, we ask that you please call ahead (508) 753-7700 option 3, so we can make arrangements for entry into a private and separate room through our back door. There is a sign on the door for all those who did not call ahead, asking them to return to their car and call us for instructions. We are also taking care to create distancing in the waiting room, disinfect all surfaces touched by all patients and asking all patients to use our alcohol hand sanitizers upon entry.

In summary, we have separate systems for caring for everyone. So whether you are ill or not, we are open for business and able to care for you appropriately and safely.

Vaccine information:

All COVID-19 vaccines currently available are NOT FDA APPROVED, but are being released by the FDA under EMERGENCY AUTHORIZATION. Dr. Hamawi does recommend it for those at high risk. Currently the State will not be providing our site with vaccine for distribution.
